Easton Fire Department Update on Henri

Henri’s track has moved slightly to the east. We will still not be getting the brunt of the rain, but winds might be a bit stronger than we were hoping for after the forecast earlier today. Easton town resources are staged and ready to go. We will respond to anything Henri brings our way.

Be sure to think about tree safety in the winds tomorrow. With an already saturated ground, trees could come down unexpectedly.

If you lose power and have a portable generator, please be sure it is located outside and away from openings into your home. Carbon monoxide is dangerous and hard to detect. Check that your carbon monoxide detectors are working by pressing the test button on them.

Stay safe tomorrow!
