Fire Prevention & Public Education
The department follows Massachusetts laws on inspections and permits for fire alarms and hazardous materials. The S.A.F.E. program carries out fire drills in schools and promotes fire safety initiatives.
Residential Sharps Program
Easton Fire Department has partnered with the Board of Health to offer residents options for safely disposing of these items.
Open Burn Permit
An Open Burning permit is required. Burning is permitted from January 15 to May 1, limited to the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
