Disposing of sharps in household trash is both illegal and dangerous, but the Easton Fire Department has partnered with the Board of Health to offer residents options for safely disposing of these items.
The Easton Fire Department will accept sharps that are secured in capped, puncture resistant plastic containers (such as laundry detergent bottles). No loose sharps will be accepted.
