Easton Fire Department Reminds Residents that Open Burning Season Has Ended

EASTON — Chief Justin Alexander and the Easton Fire Department would like to remind residents that the state’s open burning period ended on Sunday, May 1.

The Commonwealth’s annual burning period spanned from Jan. 15 to May 1.

Residents were able to burn brush, cane, driftwood, tree pruning and other forestry with a permit granted by the Easton Fire Department during the yearly open burning season.

The Easton Fire Department would like to thank residents for another safe open burning season this year.
