PHOTOS/VIDEO: Easton Fire Celebrates Successful Fire Safety Open House

Easton Fire is pleased to share that its recent open house was a great success, with hundreds of community members attending the event throughout the day and over $800 raised for the Easton Food Pantry.

Visitors were able to learn about fire safety, check out apparatus, and see demonstrations. Kids were assisted by firefighters in using fire hoses to spray a spray house, took photos with Sparky the Fire Dog and had their faces painted. Visitors were also able to learn about various community organizations, take home fire safety materials, and enjoy pizza and refreshments.

The Easton Fire Department would like to thank all the local sponsors who supported the event and the representatives who attended on behalf of each community group, as well as recognize the many staff members who helped plan the open house and volunteered during the event.

Videos of the live fire sprinkler demonstration can be viewed here and here. Additional video from the event from Easton Community Access Television can be viewed here.
