The Easton Community Health and Paramedicine program is a combination of efforts by the Easton Fire Department and the Department of Health and Community Services. The goal of this collaboration is to implement an effective and accessible Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Program. By investing in proactive and preventative care, the program seeks to have our residents remain in the community by providing supports that limit the need for emergency care whenever possible.
The program is managed by the Town’s EMS/MIH/Public Health Officer, Capt. Evan Malone, who joined the Easton Fire Department in 1997.
What is Community Paramedicine and Mobile Integrated Health and What Benefit Does It Provide to Easton Residents?
The program was presented to the Select Board in November 2021. A copy of that presentation is here, and the video is below.
