EASTON — Chief Kevin Partridge reports that the Easton Fire Department responded to a fire in a condominium complex on Foundry Street Wednesday evening.
At approximately 2:51 p.m., the Easton Fire Department responded to the Fox Run Condominiums at 15 Foundry St. Upon arrival, firefighters located a fire in two units in the Camden Building.
Engine 12 was first on scene, and worked to quickly extinguish the flames.
Crews then worked to overhaul the scene for a little over two hours.
Captain Kyle Riendeau was in command at the scene.
Each unit had one resident, at least one of whom was at home when the fire started. Both will be temporarily displaced until full power is restored to the units.
No injuries were reported in the incident and neither resident required medical attention.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the fire was accidental. Officials believe a light fixture in one of the units was the cause of the fire.
The West Bridgewater Fire Department provided mutual aid at the scene, and the Stoughton Fire Department provided station coverage.
The Easton Police Department also assisted on the call and helped to direct traffic.
