EASTON — Fire Chief Kevin Partridge is pleased to report that members of the Town of Easton’s state delegation were in town this week to discuss legislative priorities for the Fire Chiefs’ Association of Massachusetts for the coming year.
The delegation included Senators Walter Timilty and Michael Brady and State Representatives Claire Cronin and Carol Doherty. They met at the Queset House in Easton on Tuesday, April 6.
The elected officials were joined by Chief Partridge, Plainville Fire Chief Justin Alexander (who has been selected to serve as Easton’s next Chief following Chief Partridge’s retirement), Easton Deputy Fire Chief Jon Carroll, Dighton Fire Chief Christopher Maguy and Fire Chiefs’ Association of Massachusetts Government Affairs Director William P. Scoble.
“We all would like to thank our elected officials for everything they do on behalf of local first responders,” Chief Partridge said. “Their continued advocacy, as well as support and assistance through programs such as the firefighter equipment grant program, allows us to do our jobs more safely and more effectively.”
