With daylight saving time approaching this weekend, Chief Kevin Partridge and the Easton Fire Department are encouraging residents to test their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Due to the recent storms, the Easton Conservation Commission voted on Monday, March 5, to allow, for the next 30 days, the removal of felled trees from properties adjacent to town-owned land managed by the Conservation Commission and within wetland resource areas.
On the heels of last week’s powerful storm that knocked down trees and caused widespread power outages, Fire Chief Kevin Partridge, Police Chief Gary Sullivan and DPW Director David Field are advising Easton residents to prepare for a snowstorm that is expected to hit the region this week.
Chief Kevin Partridge is pleased to announce that the Easton Fire Department completed its annual cold water rescue training last week.
